Presenter: Kelly Fast, Assistant Director, Department Health Science and Technology, Charter Oak State College



Kelly is Assistant Director in the Department of Health Science and Technology at Charter Oak State College, with a focus on the M.S. Health Informatics Program at Charter Oak State College.
She has been involved in Health Information and Informatics Management education and CAHIIM accreditation since 2012.
Prior to her career in HIIM education, she was a physician office manager, medical transcription service business owner, and manager of HIM in a community hospital where her interest in data analysis and reporting began.

Kelly holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Quincy University in Quincy, IL. She completed a Master of Science in Health Information Management degree and certificate in Health Information Exchange at College of St. Scholastica.  She holds the Registered Health Information Administration credential.
