Presenter: Erika Manuel, MBA, PHR, Director Strategic HR Business Partner, Avista Adventist Hospital/ St Anthony North Hospital/Revenue Management & Finance

Erika is the Human Resources Director overseeing two hospitals in Colorado with a Master’s in Business Administration and Professional Human Resources Certification. She has 18 years of experience in Human Resources specifically in healthcare. Spent two years as a Consultant with Employers Council and provided compensation recommendations for industries outside of healthcare including oil and gas, State of Colorado, Parks and Recreation and Technology companies. Over 12 years as a compensation subject matter expert where she used research, pay equity laws and statistics to access compensation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure meaningful analysis. Played a integral role in building compensation programs, algorithms for base rate adjustment and salary offers, manage bonus programs, created new job descriptions, career ladders and pipeline opportunities through apprenticeship programs  for multiple organizations.
