Presenter:  Dawn Valdez RN, LNC, CCDS, CDIP, CRC

Dawn is a clinical documentation integrity (CDI) education specialist for ACDIS/HCPro, a Simplify Compliance brand, in Middleton, Massachusetts. Dawn serves as a full-time instructor for the CDI Boot Camps and is a subject matter expert for ACDIS. She has more than 28 years’ experience in the healthcare industry including ICU nursing, legal nurse consulting, was a clinical educator and manager of CDI for a large hospital system. Dawn has also given numerous lectures on healthcare related topics over the last two decades.  Dawn has presented at the national ACDIS conference as well for several of ACDIS state chapters.
